News Summary
Silajdzic is self-loving politician attempting impossible task of revising Dayton – Dodik
“For dialog in BiH there is no hierarchy but a need to sort out many things and I wanted to discuss claims that there was no aggression on BiH” commented RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik when asked about his invitation to Co-president of the Council of Ministers, Haris Silajdzic, to a TV duel regarding his latest statements. Dodik claims to be able to prove there was no aggression. “Demands to revise the Dayton Agreement, especially by Silajdzic, are rather outspoken. It is not possible and is not a subject that a large proportion of the international public will support.” Dodik concluded by evaluating Silajdzic as a self-loving politician.

Izetbegovic interview to ONASA
“The idea to revise the Dayton Agreement is attractive but unrealistic. Currently it is more useful to look at some articles from the Madrid Conference; the return of refugees, border police, and the transformation of the Council of Ministers. I would rather spend my energy on issues such as dual citizenship, illegal and humiliating voting by Bosnian Croats in Croatian elections for governing bodies, achieving agreement on assets, more favorable trade agreements, realizing donations from the third and fourth Donors’ Conference and quicker passport issuing for immigrants. In one word, more real issues. The best way to revise Dayton is to realize its good sides, unfortunately many existing only on paper. In the campaign against corruption we must distinguish between those fighting it and those fighting the rule that is trying to defeat it. First are concrete in their search for truth and the others give false and generalized data” said Member of the BiH Presidency Alija Izetbegovic for ONASA.
