Mostar – The tensions did not calm down after killing of a Bosniak in Tasovcici, near Capljina, and a new explosion occurred in front of the house of a returnee in Aladinicii, fortunately without casualties. Mehmed Zilic, Federal Minister for the Interior Affairs, and Rasim Kadic Minister for Refugees and Cantonal leaders held an urgent meeting with Sir Martin Garrod, Head of the Regional OHR in Mostar. We agreed on strengthened security measures during the night and suggested concrete measures for setting up an anti-terrorist team for investigation of these cases, Zilic told the news after the meeting. I hope these incidents will help the International Community and HDZ settle an account with those who make problems also to them, Kadic said and added that he believes that there are many Croats who do not wish to live under such dangerous circumstances.

Sarajevo – The Executive Commission of the Party for BiH condemned the terrorist acts against Bosniaks in Tasovcici. An appeal has been sent to the International Institutions to enable return of the security and peace for all citizens of BiH, reads their Statement.

Kotor Varos – After an investigation was carried out on the killing of one and wounding of two Bosniak returnees in Siprage, near Kotor Varos, IPTF announced that the cause for this was an intentionally laid explosive device. The tragedy occurred when a returnee was killed while cleaning his house and two other persons were wounded when they activated a land mine while trying to leave the house and the place of the explosion.

Maglaj – Around 700 homes have been reconstructed in this community, but only 100 families returned. Most of the facilities for a normal life function here, only electricity and water supply are missing. When the complete project of reconstruction has been finished, the authorities believe that the DPs will return to their homes. By that time most of them prefer the status of displaced persons in Zenica, Zepce and the town itself.
