Sarajevo – Deputies of the BiH Assembly HoR discussed and accepted the whole Agenda foreseen for today’s meeting and tackled some supplementary questions: A draft law on Conditions and Procedure of the state and entity bodies regarding war criminal arrests on the territory of the whole country; A proposal for BiH Budget for common institutions in 1998; An Agreement on the Economic Co-operation between BiH and Slovenia, and two Road Agreements.

Sarajevo – HR Carlos Westendorp marked as urgent his invitation to the CoM Members for a preliminary discussion of a Law on Privatisation in his Office today. It is important that the entity laws are made in accordance with the Constitution, Boro Bosic who chaired the meeting told the news after the meeting. I mean they cannot be discriminatory towards any citizen. The previous laws were based on the residents right and not citizenship, he added. The next meeting will be held on Thursday.

Sarajevo – BiH Press agency carried the BiH Financial Police Statement informing that the Police handed over evidence related to criminal charges against Mirsad Kurtovic, Minister of the Foreign Trade and Economic Relations and former Director of the State Reserve Directorate, as well as against Ismet Kumalic. The two have been accused of criminal act relating to a tax fraud.

Tuzla – Doboj – The incidents related to the returns in Derventa and Drvar last week occurred according to the domino effect. This morning barricades were made on the Tuzla – Doboj road. SFOR representatives assessed that the Serbs and the Bosniaks built up their own obstacles on the entity line, five kilometres from Doboj. The reason for this was a reaction to the wounding of five Serb returnees, Andrea Agnelli, UN Spokesman in Tuzla told the news. The same statement was repeated by Alex Ivanko. BiH. The Federal Ministry for Internal Affairs gave a detailed account of the events which occurred.

In the late afternoon talks on this topic began between the Canton Governor and OHR, SFOR and UNHCR.

Stolac – The Municipality President of Stolac sent a letter to HR Carlos Westendorp expressing his concerns relating to the explosions of houses in the village Pjesivac, Greda in the Stolac municipality. The mining of houses happened in the very vicinity of the Bosniak returnee,s endangering their lives. We are pleading to the highest Federation leaders, BiH and Hercegovina-Neretva Canton as well as to the international factors to undertake steps to stop terrorism in this municipality, reads a letter.
