Two-day Madrid Conference was finished today in Madrid. The Declaration contains 16 Articles and 10 annexes, which explain in detail tasks that are to be carried out in BiH in the next two years. The main issues of the Declaration are BiH joint institutions, rule of laws, democratisation, BiH integration, issues of succession and the international support of implementation. Two also important issues of the Declaration are the mandate to HR Westendorp to replace all persons who work against Bosnia and the Brcko arbitration. BiH officials agreed that Declaration treats all sides in BiH equally. BiH Presidency member Izetbegovic said that it was interesting to listen to BiH Presidency President Radisic, who kept mentioning the term “Bosnia and Herzegovina” which was not so before. Regarding the Brcko Arbitration decision, Federation President Ganic said that he used the opportunity at the conference “to break an old illusion” which is that Serbs in Brcko are not from Sarajevo, that is, that there is only one percent of Sarajevo Serbs in Sarajevo.

Association of Srebrenica Citizens gathered today in front of the US Embassy in Sarajevo, in order to express their protest due to convicted Srebrenica citizens in “the Bijeljina Process”. Annoyed by waiting for anybody from the Embassy to address them, Srebrenica citizens progressed to the entrance. Eventually US Embassy Political Department dept agreed to address the gathered citizens.

The Independent Media Commission (IMC) made decision on canceling the direct HRT broadcasting in BiH. In the transfer period of the Federal TV establishment, the IMC will not grant the licence to the “Erotel” for re-broadcasting the HRT programme in BiH. IMC representative, Loraine said that HRT programmes are not compatible with the General Framework Agreement and therefore the IMC has the right not to issue the licence to the “Erotel” for re-broadcasting the HRT programme.

The Newly Elected Judge of the BiH Constitutional Court Azra Omeragic pledged her allegiance before the chairman of the BiH Parliament Assembly HoR, Halid Genjac. Federation Parliament HoR Chairman, Kreso was also present at the ceremony, as well as BiH Constitution Court members, BiH Parliament Assembly delegates, and OHR representatives.

The International Red Cross Committee presented annual reports on missing persons in BiH. 20.058 families reported missing persons, 669 persons were proved to be dead, but the case will remain open until the bodies are exhumed and identified. 1429 cases were solved since 1995, out of which 251 persons were found alive.

Exhumation of the “Hrastova Glavica” mass grave near Sanski Most was finished today. 144 bodies were found of killed Bosniaks from Omarska and Kereterm camps. President of the BiH Federation Missing Persons Committee Masovic said that only after identification the complete number of bodies would be definite.
