The investigation of Jozo Leutar’s murder is currently going on but details on this have not been found yet. This was the reason for opening of a special telephone line, initiated by IPTF. The BiH Federation Government still offers a reward of 1,000,000 DEM for the information about the murder. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Zeljka Lekic.
Tuzla
A special report on yesterday’s attack on the Srebrenica Municipality Secretary, Munib Hasanovic. The Secretary explained what had happened yesterday. The work of the multiethnic administration in Srebrenica has been stopped for the time being. There were no official reactions by the RS authorities. Sarajevo
The Interior Ministry of the Sarajevo Canton continued its work on the cases of business crime in the Canton. The Ministry raised charges against six individuals who took over two million DEM from the SAB Bank which had gone bunkrupt recently. Today, they were arrested.
Mostar
This was followed by a report on the similar event in the Hercegovina-Neretva Canton. The Deputy President of the Canton Assembly raised charges against nine Croat officials due to misuse of their authorities. They allegedly participated in the illegal privatisation of state owned companies. The report was produced by OBN reporter from the area, Mirsad Behram.
Banja Luka
Two days ago, the BiH Presidency reached a decision to proceed with charges against Yugoslavia for aggression and genocide committed in BiH. The decision was reached through the voting of the Croat and Bosniak member of the Council. The RS representative in the Council, Zivko Radisic, disagreed with the decision and asked for the extraordinary session of the RS Assembly on Sunday in order to cancel the decision. The British Court approved extradition of the ex Chilean leader Pinochet to the Spanish Government. This was followed by a piece on the Chechen leader who called NATO to stop fights in Chechenia. In Kosovo, the new Commander of KFOR troops is from Germany. The British Foreign Office announced that next week the UK will ask all partners in the European Union to be more active in the fight against organised crime in Kosovo, OBN journalist, Mladen Maric, confirmed.
Bugojno
Delegation of the HDZ party in BiH, headed by the President of the party, Ante Jelavic, visited Bugojno and Prozor-Uskoplje today. The delegation talked with the local officials about position of Croats in these two municipalities. The Delegation visited the first Croat elementary school in Bugojno, OBN reporter from the area, Ana Drmac, produced the report.
Fazlagica Kula
The BiH Council of Ministers donated material worth 90 thousand DEM for the reconstruction of returnees’ houses in the Gacko and Nevesinje municipalities. Approximately 25 houses will be reconstructed in the Fazlagica Kula village before the winter, OBN reporter from the area, Alden Kajtaz, confirmed.

Delegation of the US Institute for Peace visited the Balkans recently. This organisation, founded by the US Congress, is one of the severest critics of the US current administration. The US Institute for Peace criticised the current authorities in BiH and International Community as well for not solving of real problems in BiH. The representative of the Institute, William Stuebner, explains their position in the interview made by the OBN reporter, Bakir Hadziomerovic.
