Brcko
The International Supervisor for Brcko, Robert Farrand, announced the Statute of the Brcko District today. The Statute will officially take effect on February 28th 2000. The press conference held today in Brcko was attended by the High Representative in BiH, Wolfgang Petritsch. The Supervisor for Brcko said that the period between now and February 28th would be used for the establishment of the Brcko District institutions, such as the Provisional Government and the Assembly of the Brcko District. Srebrenica
Two months after the attack on the Srebrenica Municipality Assembly Secretary, Munib Hasanovic, perpetrators of the attack have not been yet discovered. The only success of the representatives in the Srebrenica Municipality Assembly is that they have met for the first time after the incident. The representatives discussed the security situation in the municipality for hours. Police claim that the stay of the Bosniak representatives in Srebrenica are safe to stay. Banja Luka

The decision was made at today’s session of the RS Government in Banja Luka because of the difficult economic situation in the Municipality. The Government also discussed the draft budget for next year, OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Dragan Stanimirovic, confirmed.
Sarajevo
The supply of with oil derivatives in some parts of the BiH Federation is still difficult. Most of the private fuel stations do not work for the fifth day in a row because the BiH Federation Government decided not to increase fuel price this year. Although private owners previously announced they would stop paying tax to the state and continue to sell higher price fuel, they brought a different decision today. They ask from the BiH Federation Government to meet again and to try find a solution for the current situation. Representative of the private owners claim that some of them were forced to continue their work and thus lose profit because the price of oil was increased on the global market. Mostar
A report on the signing of the contract between the Mostar factory “Aluminij” and two companies from the USA about import of materials the factory needs for production. The contract is worth 80 million dollars. The companies have had a good business cooperation for the last three years, and the new contract is signed for a five year period. Zenica
During the second day of his official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Turkish President, Sulejman Demirel, visited the SFOR Turkish Battalion in Zenica. A meeting between the businessmen of the two countries was in practice an exchange of information. Legal experts, gathered by the initiative to introduce the Supreme Court at the level of state, agreed that Bosnia and Herzegovina can not exist without legislation unity.
