Yugoslavia
NATO air strikes on targets in Yugoslavia entered into the seventh week. OBN’s reporter from Belgrade, Natasa Narancic, reports that the severest strikes during previous night were in the North West part of Nis area, at a fuel store. Other targets of the strikes were Uzice, Cacak and an airport near Kraljevo.
Voice of America reported that the US officials said that the strikes would continue until the beginning of July at least. In the meantime, repression of Serbian forces in Kosovo continues.
Bonn
Meeting of the G-8 countries foreign ministers was held in Bonn. Joint strategy of the West and Russia for solving the Kosovo crisis is adopted and the basis for this was the five conditions previously made by the Alliance.
Kosovo – refugees
International Migration Agency will organize an operative flight for evacuation of the Kosovo refugees from Macedonia to the US. The US announced that they would accept 20,000 refugees. Albanian Government decided to accept another six thousand refugees.
OBN’s reporter from Skopje, Safet Bisevac, confirmed that Macedonia would not accept new refugees except those who would be evacuated to the third countries.
Sarajevo
European envoy for the Humanitarian Office of the European Union, Emma Bonino, begins her visit to the South East Europe region with today’s arrival in BiH. She has come to BiH in order to confirm commitment of the European Union and European Commission in BiH and to talk with the representatives of authorities on the use of the EU funds in the reconstruction of BiH.
Mostar
A piece on the BiH Federation Government session in Mostar. Government accepted draft laws on work according to the international conventions previously signed by BiH.
Banja Luka
Second part of the yesterday’s RS Government session was held in Banja Luka today. The main issue on the agenda was preparing for the forthcoming donor conference.

World Bank Director in BiH, Rory O’Sullivan, gives special statement for TV INFO on the bank system in BiH. He said it was very important to reconstruct the bank system in BiH as soon as possible.

A report on elections for the regional parliaments in Scotland and Wales was followed by the piece on East Timor and continuing of the search for victims of the recent tornado in the US.
Sarajevo
A report from the press conference of the US Ambassador in BiH, Richard Kauzlarich, held today in Sarajevo. He said that unsuccessful functioning of the authorities on different levels in BiH endanger implementation of the funds provided by the World Bank.
Velika Kladusa
A piece on blockade of the municipality account in Velika Kladusa. There were some indications that the structure of the municipality authorities was the cause for this.
Travnik
Continuation of the Muris Ljubuncic trial who is suspected for killing the police officer, Anto Valjan, last year.

From March this year, 1,100 citizens have submitted their applications for the property return in Bijeljina. However, due to the lack of co-operation between entities, the process is slow.
