Today, members of the US Instutute for Peace were guests of the association of independent intellectuals, “Circle 99”. The Institute members, who have been touring the Pact member countries, talked about the future of the Balkans and BiH in respect of the Stability Pact.The report was produced by OBN reporter, Damir Kaletovic.
Dubrovnik
The two day International Conference for the Protection of Children begins in Dubrovnik tomorrow. The organiser of the Conference is the International League of Humanists. OBN reporter, Mujo Delibegovic, reports on the event from Dubrovnik. Today, the current situation in Croatia and BiH was discussed at the round table meeting.
World
A report on the difficult humanitarian situation and the lack of food in East Timor was followed by a report on another earthquake in Taiwan which killed four people. This was followed by a piece on the continuation of air attacks on the capital of Chechenia by Russian planes. Reports on current events in Washington, Cairo, London, Pristina and Belgrade followed.

Banja Luka
The RS Government announced return of 1,252 Bosniak and Croat families to Banja Luka, OBN reporter from the town, Dragan Stanimirovic, confirmed.
Zvornik
This was followed by a report on the return process in Zvornik. Approximately nine thousand Bosniaks have returned to the town to date, OBN reporter from the town, Zeljko Pantelic, confirmed.
Busovaca
Over 1,000 Croats still wait to return to the villages in the Busovaca area because refugees lack funds to reconstruct their houses. The report was produced by OBN reporter from the area, Branka Vrebac.
Zavidovici
How to change a negative image of a town by dismissing the head of the municipality was shown through the example of the Zavidovici municipality. The new mayor of the municipality, Mirsad Dzaferovic, promises to change the situation, OBN reporter, Mladen Maric, confirmed.
Banja Luka
Mladen Ivanic, who was nominated for the RS Government candidate twice, established a political party today in Banja Luka. The main reason for that was the current division in the RS and the presence of two coalition blocks in this BiH entity, Ivanic said.
