The Head of the University of Sarajevo, Nedzad Mulabegovic resigned. The Canton Court started an investigation against him, suspecting him of embezzlement of KM 658 000. Mulabegovic feels that he is a victim of previously planned scenario. The University Board proposed Prof. Dr. Boris Tihi as the new University Head. Reported by Damir Kaletovic.

The Association of Women of Srebrenica reacted after the statement of the Prince of Saudi Arabia, Selman bin Abdul Asis, about DM 200 million that they granted for B&H. The Association thanked the High Saudi Committee for the money they never received. Sanela Fazlic produced the report.

Employees of one of the “Energoinvest”‘s factories are on strike again, due to the alleged company’s debt in the amount of DM 1 400 000. The factory has existed since 1953. Reported by Sevko Bajic.
Banja Luka
Representatives of the RS Union and the RS Government met today in Banja Luka. They discussed the following issues: financial situation of employees, budget users, minimum price of work and implementation of collective contracts.
Mostar
The Mostar City Council decided that the B&H “Elektroprivreda” and “Elektroprivreda” of Herceg Bosna pay to the city budget for using hydro-energetic facilities in Mostar. The OHR supported the decision.

Mostar
The HDZ announced today that they would not participate in the elections in November, unless the issue of election of delegates in the Federal Parliament House of Peoples was solved before that. Reported by Misijana Brkic.
Yugoslavia
The pre-election silence will start in Yugoslavia this evening. The Supreme Court in Belgrade found 14 western officials guilty for war crimes in Yugoslavia last year and sentenced them to 20 years in prison.
According to local journalists, the Yugoslav Army left their barracks and stationed on positions around cities in Montenegro. The Commander of the FRY Army, Nebojsa Pavkovic said that the Army would recognise election victory of an opposition candidate. Reported by Danica Ilic and Amarildo Gutic.

Due to obstructions in implementation of property laws, the Federal Government decided to carry out penal measures. They defined a deadline for local authorities to implement property laws. If there are no results, some of them will be suspended. Reported by Mirna Sadikovic.
