Zenica
Ina a landslide which occurred in the Zenica residential quarter, Mala Broda, three people were killed. Another four individuals are missing. Another landslide occurred this morning in the Hece residential quarter. The rescue team stopped their search for four missing members of Sacir Mujezinovi’s family in the residential quarter Mala Broda because of dangerous conditions. Three members of the Okan family, who were killed in the first landslide on Thursday, will be buried tomorrow. OBN reporter from the area, Nela Kacmarcik, confirmed
Zagreb
The Republic of Croatia will not extradite Fikret Avdic to Bosnia and Herzegovina because he is a citizen of Croatia. This was announced by the new Minister of Justice of the Republic of Croatia, Stjepan Ivanisevic. BiH asks Fikret Abdic to be extradite because he allegedly committed war crimes during the war in BiH.

At least 16 people were killed in the Indian Federal state, Bihar, where the elections for the local Parliament have started. In the capital of Thailand, the tenth UN conference on the trade and development has opened. Some one hundred protesters gathered in front of the building where the conference was held in order to protest against the globalisation of trade. In the South of Chechenya, the offensive of Russian troops has continued. The European Council has asked for an investigation of war crimes allegedly committed in Chechenya. In Bucharest, six countries from the Balkans – Albania, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Turkey, have signed a charter on good-neighbour relations, stability, security and cooperation in the South-East of Europe. Border Crossings with Yugoslavia
Customs officers of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia increased control on the border crossings with Bosnia and Herzegovina. There were no official comments on this. As a result of that, crossing of the border has been slowed down, and citizens have to wait approximately one hour. This affected citizens of Bijeljina and surrounding towns the most. Banja Luka
An item on the second day of the International Conference on the bilateral relations between BiH and Yugoslavia. The participants discussed political, economic and cultural issues. OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Dragan Stanimirovic, produced the report. This was followed by a report on the work table meeting on economic issues held during the second day of the Conference. The participants concluded that establishment of zones of free trade between the two countries was necessary, Sanela Zivkovic confirmed.
Banja Luka
Most of the parties from the RS have welcomed the new authorities in the Republic of Croatia. However, most of the refugee Serbs from Croatia were skeptical about their return. The RS Minister of Refugees, Petar Dzodan, said they hoped that the International Community would find ways to provide the Serbs a chance to return to the Republic of Croatia.
Busovaca
Refugee Croats from Busovaca asked for the stopping of all donations to the Municipality until the reconstruction of their houses begins. They are unsatisfied with the dynamics of the reconstruction of their houses. Some of them have already received eviction orders. The report was produced by OBN reporter from the area, Ana Drmac.
Lukavica (Sarajevo)
Organisation “Return to Sarajevo” has been established recently in Lukavica near Sarajevo. The establishment of the organisation was supported by the British Embassy in Sarajevo. More than 60 Serbs who want to return to Sarajevo address the organisation on a daily basis. The piece was produced by OBN reporter, Sevko Bajic.
Cajnice / Gorazde
This was followed by a report on return to the Cajnice and Gorazde municipalities. The returnees in the area are faced with the same problems of returnees all over Bosnia and Herzegovina: insufficient infrastructure and lack of electricity. OBN reporter from the area, Alen Bajramovic, confirmed.
Brcko
A number of Brcko citizens have sent a petition to the Supervisor of the Brcko District, Robert Farrand. They ask that evictions be stopped, for dismissal of the multi-ethnic commission for apartments and revision of eviction orders issued by the commission. In the past three months, the Commission has solved some 220 cases and some 90 are currently being processed. Slobodanka Radojkovic produced the report.
Jablanica
More and more refugees, currently located in the collective centers in Jablanica, have been moving out to third countries. Living conditions are very difficult and “Elektroprivreda” asks them to pay electricity bills, Sinisa Jokic, confirmed. Refugees announced a blockade of the M-17 road.
Sarajevo
As a result of internal debts, bank accounts of more than 5,000 companies in the BiH Federation have been frozen by the ZZP (Office for the Payment Operations). Internal debts of the companies are worth five hundred million KM. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Amarildo Gutic.
Velika Kladusa
A piece on the signing of an agreement worth approximately 13 million DEM and the establishment of the “Perutnina Agrokomerc d.o.o.” company was produced by OBN reporter from the area, Azra Bajric. This means that the production of chicken will re-start in the Agrokomerc company.
