On Monday 16 February a meeting took place in the OHR between railway experts, Mr. Brankovic, Kontic and Knezovic and Mr Paul Monnory. The meeting concluded work on a draft decree regarding the establishment of a Commission for the Regulation of inter-Entity railway traffic. This draft will now be delivered to Minister Albijanic for approval and adoption. Railways managers recall their full commitment to resume traffic as soon as possible and asked their professional staff to make final arrangements.
Today Tuesday, 24/02/98, a meeting was held in the OHR on the resumption of railway traffic between these professionals in order to finalize technical and traffic details. During the meeting final arrangements were agreed upon for the first train to run on a commercial basis from Banovici down to Ploce on Thursday, 26 February 1998.
Parallel discussions will continue together with OHR and SFOR to address some urgent repairs and traffic arrangements.
