Five years after the war ended in Bosnia and Herzegovina, displacement still affects every aspect of life. Although 368,898 displaced people and refugees have returned to their homes, many face further struggles in their efforts to re-establish a normal life, while of the 518,000 still displaced within the borders of BiH, many are still unable to repossess their property.

The “Koliko jos?” documentary series provides a voice to those people, asking the question “How much further ?” is there to go before everyone will be able to live a normal life in BiH. The “video diaries” that make up the series provide some thought provoking responses from those who are still displaced – including refugees from Croatia – as well as those who have already returned. These stories are a testament to the triumph of many ordinary people over adversity as well as a sober reminder of the challenges that still await the politicians and the people of BiH if they are to create a better future.

The series “Koliko jos?” will air from Monday 21 May, at 19.20h on CCN (Croatian Commercial Network) as a series of 30 programmes, each of five minutes length, of five minutes length, broadcast every working day for the next six weeks. It was produced by Internews BiH in cooperation with the Office of the High Representative and was first broadcast on both RTV BiH and RT RS and rebroadcast on 20 regional and local TV stations across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
