News Summary

Jelavic leads HDZ delegation to Ravne-Brcko Municipality

HDZ BiH President Ante Jelavic led a party delegation to Tuzla’s Ravne-Brcko area to examine the issues of better constitutional and legal positions for Croats in the region, how to prepare for local elections and when the final Brcko arbitration decision will be implemented. “With all the support given to the Soli Municipal Board in preparation for the elections, the basic message was that one of the HDZ BiH’s priorities is to improve the position of Croats in areas where they are minority, as is the case in Tuzla Canton” said Ante Jelavic. He believes that there is room for improvement. During closed talks in Tuzla, some journalists were treated inappropriately, causing several media representative to abandon further coverage of this story.
