Gen. Rupert Smith, NATO Deputy Commander for Europe visited B&H. Gen. Smith met with Presidency members, Alija Izetbegovic and Zivko Radisic individually. They talked about Joint Army and implementation of peace agreement. Gen. Smith also met International Community representatives. Vedran Persic produced the report.

Embittered depositors are still waiting for someone from Temporary Board of Commercial Bank Tuzla to speak with them. To pay attention to their problem depositors announced they will block roads and Authority Institutions. Sabina Dizdarevic reported.

Employees of “Tuzla Putevi” Company announced that they will block the Federal Government building on August 18th 2000. if their requests are not fulfilled. Workers think that the director and Steering Board is guilty for bad situation in their company. The report was produced by Anes Alic.

There is still no solution for the hard situation of employees in “Zivinice Promet” Company. The workers are asking for replacing of their director and Steering Board suspecting they have done crimes in the process of privatisation. Amarildo Gutic produced the report.

Payment of retirements started in RS today. Svetozar Mihajlovic, director of RS Organisation for retirements, said that there will be no retirements for April and May. Pensioners are confused. Nedeljka Berberina reported.

In B&H Law on Pensioners Insurance from 1973. regulated benefices for invalid persons. This law was cancelled in 1998. New laws are not in favour of invalid persons.
