On 27 May, various media houses stated that the reconstruction of the
Balinovac Mosque in Municipality South West has not started yet because
ROHR(S) and the Municipality South West have failed to give their consent.
The Office of the High Representative refutes these provocative accusations. OHR South has stated publicly that it supports the rebuilding of all religious facilities from all religions. Permission to rebuild the Balinovac Mosque has not been sought from OHR (S), nor should such permission be required.
