On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, the Office of the High Representative and the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina are pleased to announce the launch of a photographic exhibit featuring artists from across the Former Yugoslavia, entitled "The Aftermath".
These photographs chronicle the historic events of Southeast Europe through the last decade of the twentieth century, which have forever changed the political and social landscape of this region. These works represent some of the best photographic talents in the ex-Yugoslavia, and have been published in such internationally renowned publications such as Time, Newsweek and The Guardian. The following photographers’ works will be featured:
Klavdij Sluban - Slovenia-France The works of these artists will also be joined by the photographs of Paul Lowe, Magnum photographer and long-standing photojournalist in the region. High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch and OSCE Head of Mission, Ambassador Robert L. Barry will be present to open the exhibit. Following the official opening night on Monday, 4 December 2000, this exhibition of seven photographers will be open for public viewing until 13 January 2001. The venue for this event will be the Gallery Pozoriste Mladih, at Kulovica 8, Sarajevo.
