On Tuesday 11th August TV OSCAR C, from Mostar, signed the contract to
officially join OBN as one of the new affiliates to their Network expansion
throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. TV Oscar C are the second new TV Station
to join the network from the Federation this month.
Technical installation and testing will continue over the next five days. It is planned that TV OSCAR C will start by taking TV INFO, OBN's daily news programme and TELERING, OBN's popular debate programme as well as general entertainment programmes. As with the other OBN Network affiliates, TV OSCAR C will transmit OBN programming alongside their own local programming - as well as providing news and programmes that can be shown on the OBN Network. Project Director Mike Challenger said, "this is one of the most significant additions to the OBN Network and will now allow viewers in a new part of Bosnia and Herzegovina to watch OBN". Director of TV OSCAR C, Ante Kristo added, "Joining OBN is ideal opportunity for the people of Herzegovina to get accurate information from the entire area of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in return to express their views countrywide".
