Principal Deputy High Representative and Brčko District Supervisor Louis Crishock met today with Brčko Port Deputy Director Mirna Salijević and Brčko District Port Captaincy office manager, Mladen Rogić.
During the visit, Supervisor Crishock was pleased to learn more about the port’s operational activities and future development plans following its modernization. He also underscored the important role of the Brčko District Port Captaincy in ensuring the safe navigation and management of traffic on the Sava River within the territory of Brčko District, in accordance with the Law on Inland Navigation of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“All authorities of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina must adhere to the District’s laws and regulations. The institutions and public office holders of Brčko District alone may exercise authority or function within the District,” Supervisor Crishock said.
