Principal Deputy High Representative Louis Crishock met with the delegation of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, led by PA President Pere Joan Pons Sampietro, for discussions on the current political situation in BiH, the country’s progress on its EU path, and preparations for the 2026 elections.
PDHR Crishock underlined that the recent decision by High Representative Christian Schmidt to improve the integrity and transparency of elections represents a crucial step toward restoring citizens’ confidence in the democratic process and ensuring that every vote is counted and respected.
“Bosnia and Herzegovina can make real progress on its European path. The way forward lies in cooperation, respect for democratic values, and protection of citizens’ rights. The introduction of new technologies will further strengthen trust and transparency in the election process,” said PDHR Crishock.
