OHR’s Statement at the International Agencies’ Joint Press Conference in Mostar
HR visit to Belgrade
The High Representative,Paddy Ashdown,istoday on a one-day visit to Belgrade, where he will meet the President of the Republic of Serbia, Boris Tadic, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Vojislav Kostunica, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Montenegro, Vuk Draskovic.
This is part of a regular series of visits to Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro , countries which, as signatories of the Dayton Peace Agreement, have a particular obligation to ensure the implementation of the Peace Accords.
In Belgrade , the High Representative will reiterate the fact that cooperation with the ICTY is a basic Dayton obligation and that all signatories are legally bound to cooperate fully with the Hague Tribunal.
The High Representative will speak to the media following his meeting with Serbian President Tadic, which starts at 4 pm .
