The RS Defence Minister, Manojlo Milovanovic said he had talked to General Talic over the phone and that Talic said he feels well and stable before tomorrow’s indictment reading. Milovanovic said that the RS insists on Talic’s release.
The celebration in honour of Petar Kocic (Serbian writer who died at the beginning of 20th century) took place in the village of Stricici, near Banja Luka; Dodik attended the celebration and said :”We have to succeed in affirmation of the RS which is a permanent category”. The RS will be an active participant in all regional initiatives, and that is why we support the Stability Pact and the other initiatives that lead the RS into Europe”. Dodik also opened the new road between the villages Kola and Stricici. The road worth 3.5 million KMs was funded by the RS Government.

SRT also carried the statement of Holbrook who visited Kosovo and statement of General Jackson on current Kosovo developments. Holbrook also talked to Hashim Thaci on current problems in Kosovo and announced the complete demilitarisation of KLA by 19th of September;

Former Drvar Mayor, Mile Marceta said that the Croat refugees who live in Drvar have been put under a lot of pressure by HDZ. HDZ does not allow these people to return to their pre-war homes in Kakanj and Vares, and OHR representatives in this town were almost encouraging the destructive activities of HDZ, Marceta said.
