“The Serb Radical Party thinks that Milorad Dodik should not, under any circumstances, be nominated the PM designate, and that Dragan Kalinic should return his mandate, since he failed to provide parliamentary support for his proposed Government”, said the SRS acting President, Mirko Blagojevic, adding that Dodik’s Government was very detrimental to the RS. He also said new consultations should follow, and ‘Sloga’ Coalition should propose another person for the PM.

The President of the BiH Federation, Ejup Ganic said in an interview to Sarajevo’s ‘Dnevni Avaz’ daily that he would do everything to pull Brcko out of the RS. According to Ganic, Dayton left Brcko in the hands of the RS, but there was no agreement to put this town under the jurisdiction of the international administration.

As Radio Sarajevo reports, the Federation Defence Minister, Miroslav Prce and his deputy Sakib Mahmuljin expressed totally opposed views on the size of the Federation Army. Prce thinks the number of the Federation soldiers should be significantly decreased, due to financial difficulties, whereas Mahmuljin thinks the Federation Army should be enlarged.

The Mayor of Stolac, Kemal Isakovic asked the HR Carlos Westendorp to take all necessary activities to ensure the safety of the returnees to this municipality, ‘Srna’ agency reports. The letter to the HR was sent after the attack on the returnees that occurred on December 25 in the village of Aladinici.
