- 44 delegations have confirmed participation at the Stability Pact Summit in Sarajevo so far; 6.5 million DM necessary for the Summit, assessment of the Sub-Board for Financing;

Alpo Rusi, EU Co-ordinator for organisation of the Stability Pact Summit, said that most obstacles in organising the Summit had been removed. The EU will participate with 3.5 million DM out of total of 6.5 million DM. However the Sub-Board for Financing the Summit states that the sum will not be sufficient for its organisation.
BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a press conference in Sarajevo. The main topic was conclusions from the meeting of political directors of EU Ministries of Foreign Affairs. SRT carried the statements of BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesman, Hajrudin Somun on the Stability Pact Summit. Somun also added that the FRY had not been excluded from the Summit but its place remained vacant so far.
SRT reported on preparations for the Summit including technical details, transport, organisation of security, media and press. SRT carried the statement of the Austrian Ambassador in BiH that FRY would participate in the Summit only as an observer.
KOSOVO AND FRY RELATED NEWS
SRT carried the news on Gen. Jackson’s and Couchner’s condemnations of the massacre of 14 Serbs in Staro Gracko, British KFOR arrested 5 armed Albanians who tried to kill the editor-in-chief of “Jedinstvo” (Pristina based newspapers), French KFOR helps nuns in Drenica, 200 Serbs are returning to Kosovo.
SRT correspondent from Belgrade (Radmila Urosevic) reports on the political situation in Serbia, protest rallies of reservists in Nis, Pirot, Krusevac and Kragujevac, protest of citizens in Valjevo and Nis, action of “Alliance for Change”- petition for Milosevic’s resignation.
SRT carried the statements of Novak Kilibarda ( The People’s Party from Montenegro), Zeljko Rutovic (DPS member) on redefinition of relations between Serbia and Montenegro), Zoran Djindjic (DS) on Milosevic’s resignation and Vuk Obradovic (Social-democracy) on political involvement of some of VJ Generals who became puppets of the FRY leadership.
