The Main Board of the SPRS was in session in Banja Luka today. It discussed Petar Djokic as the new prime minister designate, the arbitration award for the area of Brcko and dismissal of the President of the Republic Nikola Poplasen. In an interview to the Federal press, Djokic said he considered that the Coalition Sloga was entering a period when it was increasingly difficult to secure support for Prime Minister Dodik and enable him, in a constitutional way, to continue holding office.

Kosovo-related news Milan Milutinovic, President of Serbia, and the delegation of the Serbian Government arrived in Paris to resume talks on a peaceful and political solution of the crisis in Kosmet. Robin Cook warned the authorities in Belgrade that might have to face the consequences should they oppose the peace agreement. The USA and EU are in dispute over who will be at the head of the Kosovo verification mission after the possible signing of a peace agreement at the conference in Paris, Reuters reports. The SNS expressed full support to the FRY negotiating team on the eve of tomorrow’s resumption of the talks in France on a solution for the Kosovo crisis, at which crucial decisions for Serbia are to be made, the SNS press release says.
