Roundtable on implementation of Stability Pact for Southeast Europe concludes in Sarajevo; Dodik says BiH one country composed of two entities

RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik assessed in Sarajevo on Sunday at a roundtable on European Social Democracy that lifting sanctions against Yugoslavia would be significant encouragement for the newly-elected Yugoslav leadership and President Vojislav Kostunica. The two-day roundtable that concluded on Sunday dealt with the implementation of the Stability Pact for Southeast Europe, the Dayton Agreement and human rights in BiH. During the session, SDP BiH General Secretary Karlo Filipovic accused the ruling nationalist parties in BiH of the catastrophic situation the country is in. Once again, Filipovic reiterated the SDP BiH request for the modification of BiH Constitution in order to harmonize it with the European Conventions on Human Rights. Dodik agreed that nationalist political parties are responsible for all of BiH’s problems but stressed the BiH Constitution should not be amended because BiH is a single state composed of two equal entities.
