Dodik holds press conference on RS Government decision on Poplasen and current affairs
RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik held a press conference in Banja Luka on Tuesday and stated that the RS Government decided that dismissed RS President Nikola Poplasen would be deprived of the right to use the presidential cabinet and official vehicles and to perform his previous duties. Dodik added that each move by Poplasen after his dismissal has been an abuse. Poplasen has been a destabilizing influence on the RS. Responding to a journalist’s question on Poplasen entering the RS Government and presidential building Banski Dvor, Dodik stated that Poplasen would be able to enter the Banski Dvor only if the Prime Minister invites him. The political/security situation in the RS is good, Dodik claims, adding that restructuring the RS Government is not possible at the time. The SNSD will participate in the upcoming local elections in the BiH Federation. Regarding economy, Dodik stated that cooperation with neighbors was necessary. The RS Government wants to normalize relations with Yugoslavia and advocates implementation of the special relation agreement. Commenting on relations between the RS and Yugoslavia, Dodik stated that relations could be normalized only when the current regime, meaning Milosevic and Seselj, leave. Dodik stated that he respect the will of refugees and displaced persons to return.

Srpska Kostajnica Main Board wants Dodik to form special group for borders
The Serb Kostajnica Main Board requested that RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik immediately form a working group for RS borders. The group would have the aim of defining the further activities of RS representatives in the BiH Border Commission. This request comes as a reaction to statements of President of the Commission and RS Deputy Prime Minister Ostoja Kremenovic, by which work on establishing borders between BiH and Croatia would continue.

International organizations hold press conference
International organizations held a press conference in Sarajevo on Tuesday. OHR spokesperson Alexandra Stiglmayer stated that High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch appointed eight members of the establishment board of the BiH RTV service. The members will be OHR representative Daniel de Luce, European Commission representative Antonio Riva, international supervisor for media expertise Tadeo Labernik, High Representative candidates Zlatko Prlenda, Plamenko Custovic and Milos Babic, Jelavic’s candidate Vlatko Menix and Radisic’s candidate Bosko Budisa. Stiglmayer added that the ninth member would be a candidate proposed by Alija Izetbegovic. UN spokesperson Hoffman praised joint police patrols in Brcko. SFOR spokesperson Poirtas stated that the next session of the BiH Standing Military Committee would be held in Ilidza on Wednesday. Commenting on the statement by RS Defense Minister Manojlo Milovanovic on the participation of RS Army and Defense Ministry representatives in conferences abroad, Poirtas stated that SFOR respects ICTY authority.

Murder in Blazuj can have repercussions in security situation in Ilidza – Democratic Initiative of Sarajevo Serbs Human Right Board member
Member of the Human Rights Board of the Democratic Initiative of Sarajevo Serbs Goran Kapor stated that the murder of two elderly Serb women in the Ilidza settlement of Blazuj could influence the political and security situations in the BiH Federation part of Ilidza. Kapor believes that Serb citizens of that region are wondering who will be next. According to Kapor, only 3,500 Serbs remained to live in Ilidza.
