News Summary

HDZ BiH Central Bosnia Board to organize protest rally

As reported by Croatian radio, Croats from Central Bosnia are dissatisfied with the ICTY sentence against Croatian General Tihomir Blaskic and have announced protest rallies. The main rally will be held in Kiseljak on 8 March, as decided by the HDZ BiH Central Bosnia Cantonal Board. The Board requested an immediate meeting between the Croat political leadership in BiH in order to reexamine relations with the ICTY.

SDA Main Board warns OSCE to be neutral during elections

The SDA BiH Main Board held a session in Sarajevo on Saturday, after which it warned the OSCE Mission to work neutrally and in accordance with its mandate during the election process, or it will endanger the integrity of the elections. The SDA has complained against OSCE election posters inviting citizens to vote for changes. Also, the SDA Main Board assessed voter registration for those out of BiH as complicated.
