US supports Blaskic sentence – Rubin
US State Department spokesman James Rubin stated that the US is convinced that progress is being made in ICTY efforts at satisfying justice and punishing war criminals in BiH. According to Rubin, the US State Department supports the ICTY sentence on General Tihomir Blaskic. He added that if people want to achieve peace in BiH, including the opportunity of joining Europe and becoming an equal member in European institutions, it is necessary to determine individual guilt.
