News Summary

SPRS holds press conference

Vice-president of the SPRS Nedjo Djuric held a press conference in Banja Luka on Tuesday. The SPRS will give full support and cooperation to RS Vice-president Mirko Sarovic. The SPRS expects the SDS to understand the current situation and hopes that Sarovic will assume the presidential duty. The party wants protection for system institutions and resolution of the presidential crisis. “Actions against crime, social care and privatization will be more successful when all institutions are functional,” Djuric stated.

SDS Presidency holds session

The SDS Presidency held a session on assumption of the presidential duty by RS Vice-president Mirko Sarovic in Banja Luka on Tuesday. The SDS did not declare its standpoint on the influence of Sarovic’s acceptance on resolving the presidential crisis. The SDS Main Board will discuss Sarovic’s acceptance of the presidential duty soon. Local Bijeljina TV station BN TV reported that Sarovic should assume the presidential duty by the end of the week.
