News Summary

SPRS holds press conference to discuss eighth RS National Assembly session, RS Government reconstruction and reports on public media

SPRS National Assembly Caucus leader Dragutin Ilic held a press conference in Banja Luka on Wednesday. Speaking of the next RS National Assembly session, Ilic stated that the election of new government or reconstruction of the current one should not be discussed, because the presidential crisis has not been resolved. Ilic assessed that RS National Assembly delegates do not have the necessary preconditions for an effective session since reading material was not delivered on time. Ilic said the National Assembly would most likely discuss reports on the work of public media, those established by the Assembly, at the next session. He added that on the daily Serb Oslobodjenje tendered its report while RT RS and Glas Srpski did not submit work reports. If RT RS does not tender its report by Thursday, the SPRS has proposed it be removed from the RS budget.
