Radisic comments on Galic arrest

BiH Presidency Member Zivko Radisic reacted to the arrest of General Stanislav Galic. Radisic stated that the arrest of General Galic is one more biased procedure against the RS, citizens of the RS and the RS Army. The impression is that the behavior of the IC and SFOR are one-sided at a time when the RS is intensively working on regulation of relations with the ICTY, added Radisic.

Djokic comments on Galic arrest

The office of RS National Assembly Speaker Petar Djokic issued a press release regarding the arrest of General Galic. “We are surprised because, at a time of sincere attempts at and pleading for the protection of the legal institutions in the RS, our efforts are thwarted. This is not helpful to democratic prosperity or the development of the RS. This arrest should be seen as a serious message that all problems should be resolved with a great degree of responsibility and consciousness.”

SNS and SNSD comment on Galic arrest

“The SNS pointedly condemns the arrest of Galic” stated Vice-president of the SNS Dragan Veselinovic. Veselinovic considers the arrest to be a harsh attack on the RS Government, which is trying to find a formula for better cooperation with the ICTY. The SNSD does not support the principle of secret indictments of the ICTY. A member of the SNSD Regional Board stated that the Galic arrest was an impartial act.
