News Summary

Election Law roundtable held in Sarajevo – ONASA

A roundtable on the BiH Permanent Election Law was held in Sarajevo. Envoys of political parties from the RS and BiH Federation and IC officials participated in the roundtable. Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH Robert Barry stated that the BiH Parliament plan to finish discussion on the Permanent Election Law by February 2000.

Petritsch request to Livno Canton authority – ONASA

High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch requested that authorities of Tuzla Canton immediately establish offices for resolving property demands in cities where offices do not exist, in Drvar and Bosansko Grahovo. Serb citizens have submitted approximately 2,500 requests for the return of their houses and flats, for which they have tenants’ rights.
