BiH Association of Military Invalids sends letter to BiH Federation Government
The BiH Association of Military Invalids, in a letter to the BiH Federation Government, called the BiH Independent Trade Union “a manipulative body.” The Association of Military Invalids stated that they could only realize their rights through official institutions. The Association’s Presidency demanded BiH Federation Premier Edhem Bicakcic and Head of Government’s Department for Military Issues Fuad Purisevic immediately pay back pensions owed to invalids. Association President Jusuf Losic stated that such an arrangement had been reached at a recent meeting with the Government. Certain BiH institutions such as the BiH Independent Trade Union are manipulating the population for their political ends.

Petritsch supports establishment of new radio broadcast system
High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch met on Thursday with the Chairman of the Founding Board of the new Public Broadcasting Service, Tadej Labernik. Petritsch emphasized his support for the prompt implementation of a decision to establish a radio broadcast system free of political control and financially transparent. He added that this was the condition for a free, democratic and stable BiH.
