Agreements on Special Relations, the Ploce Port and Free Transfer through Neum were signed today in Zagreb. Croatian President Tudjman, Federation President Ganic and Co-president Soljic signed the Special Relations Agreement, while the Ploce Port Agreement and the Agreement on Free Transfer through Neum were signed by BiH Presidency member Izetbegovic and Croatian President Tudjman. HR deputy Jacques Klein praised signing of agreements and reminded that it is significant that agreements were signed on the anniversary day of the Dayton Agreement signing. Klein also emphasised that these agreements mean decrease of distance between Sarajevo and Zagreb and that similar agreement can now be expected with the FRY as well.

HR Westendorp addressed a letter to Croatia President Tudjman in which he asks Republic of Croatia to re-consider Amendment of the Croatia Constitution and to define Moslems in the Croatian Constitution as national minority. Republic of Croatia is also demanded to define minority status of Moslems who declare as Bosniaks.

Brcko Supervisor Farrand reacted to statements of certain Brcko officials, who said that the Special Relations agreement might represent a step towards division of BiH, saying that some of these comments appeared in the press and that they represent early comments, for there should not be any problems or consequences for Brcko.

After his visit to USA, on the occasion of the Dayton Peace Accords signing, CoM Co-chairman Silajdzic held a press conference and said that he asked the World Bank President to prolong the credit to BiH after the year 2000.

HR Westendorp and OSCE Acting Head of Mission annulled the decision of the Croat Delegates Club at the Federation HoP on election of Croat Raska Denjalic made a very positive comment on this decision, saying that the HR has used his authority in the process of deciding at the Federation Parliament. It was also said that international representatives took as the base election results, according to which, four, out of five Croat delegates for the BiH Parliament Assembly should have been elected from the HDZ and one from the New Croatian Initiative.
