News Summary
BiH’s 13 biggest donors promise to continue aid to SDP municipalities; SDA assesses this as political apartheid and segregation
The SDP BiH called a meeting in Sarajevo on Thursday gathering the representatives of the 13 leading countries-donors to BiH and international institutions tasked with implementation of municipal election results in BiH. Donors pledged financial support to the newly established Association of SDP BiH Heads of Municipality. Donors said they would support refugee return and infrastructure reconstruction projects in the municipalities where SDP won the power in the last BiH local election. Meanwhile, the SDA, at its press conference in Sarajevo on Thursday, assessed that “separate” donors’ conferences for the SDP BiH only, represented an act of “political apartheid” and “segregation of BiH citizens dependent on which political party won political power in their municipality.”
