Serbs prevent Bosniak refugees from returning to their homes
Serb refugees settled in the villages of Janjari and Atmacici, under Mt. Majevica, set up barricades in order to prevent the return of pre-war Bosniak citizens to their homes. The Bosniak returnees intended to start reconstructing about 70 houses in Janjari and Atmicici. In order to resolve the dispute, representatives of refugees from both sides will meet in Ugljevik on Monday and try to find a solution for the crisis. After several hours of protesting, the Serb refugees moved to the Ugljevik Municipal Council building to ask local officials to reach a permanent solution for their situation.

Miller visits returnees to villages in Bratunac Municipality
US Ambassador to BiH Thomas Miller visited returnees to the villages of Besici and Pobudje in Bratunac Municipality on Tuesday. Approximately 500 Bosniaks returned to Besici last month, but they are facing difficulties after material assistance from the International Community fell through. Ambassador Miller promised that he would insist that at his government increase financial assistance to all those willing to return to their homes in both BiH entities.
