News Summary

RS National Assembly session rescheduled for June 21

The 11th session of the RS National Assembly, scheduled for June 12, was re-scheduled for June 21. The session’s proposed agenda, which included a review of a two-year RS Government work report, was the reason for disagreement among delegates. National Assembly delegate Dragutin Ilic, a SPRS member, stated that RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik scuttled the holding of the RS National Assembly session on 12 June. Ilic’s (the SPRS) initiative for Monday’s session of the RS National Assembly has been interpreted as an attempt by the Socialists and Radicals to initiate a vote of non-confidence in the Milorad Dodik-led Government by disputing the RS Government’s two-year work report.
