Sarajevo

Voters’ turnout exceeded 80% in Sarajevo municipalities. About 10% citizens were not on the registration lists. Reported by Mirna Sadikovic.

Banja Luka

Voters’ turnout in the RS was satisfactory. A certain number of voters were not registered by mistake. The report was produced by Nedeljka Breberina.

As Blazica Kristo and Dubravka Vojinovic reported, there were no serious problems during the voting in Mostar. In Zenica, Tuzla and Prijedor the situation was similar, apart from the same problems with registration lists.

The voters’ turnout in West Herzegovina was extremely low, Damir Bliznac reported.

Voting in Drvar took place without any incidents. Voters’ lists were not complete in Vitez either.

17 polling stations were opened in Zepce, reported Ana Dimac. Only a few voters decided to vote in this municipality.

There were no incidents in Nevesinje and Gacko, Damir Kaletovic reported. The only problems were incomplete voters’ lists.

Sarajevo

Refugees from 50 municipalities voted in Sarajevo. They don’t expect too much from these elections. The report was produced by OBN reporter Sevko Bajic.

As OBN reporter Anes Alic reported, there were problems with voters’ lists in Pale. About 30% of citizens are not on the registration lists, and a certain number of them gave up voting.

The High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, visited three polling stations around Sarajevo. Despite some problems, he was satisfied with the course of elections. Petritsch said that he believes in a good outcome of the elections. Reported by Zeljka Lekic.

Citizens of Brcko didn’t vote today. The International Supervisor for Brcko, Robert Farrand, said that he firstly wanted to see how the present authorities function. Reported by Slobodanka Radojkovic.

The Slovenian Parliament voted non-confidence in the government of the Prime Minister, Janez Drnovsek.

The Conference “Albanians and Their Neighbours” was finished in Budapest today. Serbs and Albanians expressed completely opposite standpoints.

The USA promised financial aid for Serbian municipalities governed by opposition parties.

The Russian police arrested a 19-year-old soldier, under the suspicion that he had killed 7 of his colleagues.

European leaders arrived in Tunis, to attend the funeral of the country’s President.

At least 8 people died in floods in west Romania. Hundreds of people were evacuated.
