The World’s Saving Day was marked today in B&H. The B&H Central Bank organised a round table on reform of the payment system and achievements of the Central Bank. “B&H will have a unified, self-sustainable system of payment”, the Governor of the Central Bank, Peter Nicholl said. Banja Luka

According to results of polls, citizens of Banja Luka are not ready to put their money in B&H banks, Milorad Milojevic reported.

Mostar

The HDZ organised a press conference in Mostar. The HDZ Chairman, and Chairman of the Croat Assembly, Ante Jelavic said that the Croat referendum will take place, adding that only international stabilisation forces could prevent it. Anita Zovko produced the report.

Sarajevo

The Sarajevo Canton Court cancelled the decision of the Federation Ministry of Economy on sale of the company “Konzum”. A group of employees-shareholders submitted a complaint. The contract on sale of the company has already been signed with the Canton Privatisation Agency. The company “Droga d.d.” from Portoroz is the buyer. According to the employees of “Konzum”, there were many irregularities in the transaction, Amarildo Gutic reported.

Banja Luka

Employees of the RS Railways organised a strike today, because the RS Government did not obey the deadline for fulfilment of their requests. Reported by Suzana Vukcevic.

A plane “Boeing 747” from Singapore crashed immediately after taking off from Taiwan to San Francisco. 30 people were injured. Causes of the crash are unknown yet.

The central computer with database has been stolen from the Central Office of the RS Democratic Party in Bijeljina. “Thieves did not take any other, more valuable things. This implies that there were some other motives for the theft”, said the Party Secretary, Gavrilo Antonic. Vesna Mladenovic produced the report.
