Yugoslavia
There were dead and wounded in the latest strikes of NATO planes on Yugoslavia, Serbian media announced. Ten people were killed in a strike on Surdulica, near Belgrade. NATO confirmed that planes hit a military barrack in Surdulica last night. Serbian sources clam that a sanatorium was hit in Surdulica as well and that at least eleven people were killed in that strike. Tatjana Stankovic, OBN reporter from Belgrade, sent her report.
Kosovo – refugees
According to UNHCR, more than 850,000 people have fled Kosovo since the beginning of NATO strikes against the Federal Republic Yugoslavia. More than 8,000 Albanians who live in the border area with Kosovo, had to be evacuated to the South due to tension on the border.
World – reactions
The US President, Bill Clinton, in the traditional speech made in the Arlington Graveyard of the American soldiers, said: “We are a stronger country because we respect our differences and we are united by our common humanity. We can not expect everybody to follow our lead… But we can say “no” to ethnic cleansing, we can say “no” to mass slaughter of people because of the way they worship God…”
The Yugoslav leadership has confirmed to accept conditions imposed by seven most countries of the world and Russia for solving the Kosovo crisis, the Yugoslav state news agency TANJUG announced.
Strong diplomatic activities for solving the Kosovo crisis go on.
Today in Brussels, the EU foreign ministers held today a meeting in Brussels. The ministers discussed situation in Kosovo and BiH.
Banja Luka
OBN crew has visited North West part of BiH and talked to the Commander of the SFOR Multinational Division South-West, Gen. Freddie Viggers. He said that despite the current events in Serbia and Kosovo, the situation in his area was stabile.
Brcko
The RS Prime minister, Milorad Dodik, met with the Brcko Supervisor, Robert Farrand, today. They were discussing arbitrary decision on Brcko and Serbs in Brcko. OBN reporter, Slobodanka Radojkovic, sent her report.

A report on arresting of a man suspected for yesterday’s throwing of a bomb in front of the Headquarters of the Third Aviation Base Building in Bihac.
Mostar
A report on an incident when a bomb exploded on a street in Mostar last night. The Interior Ministry of the Hercegovina – Neretva Canton announced that another explosive device exploded on the town football stadium in Mostar in the night between Friday and Saturday. OBN reporter, Maja Dzelilovic, reports on these incidents.
