Vienna

Although the RS delegation had left Vienna and seminar on military doctrine for BiH, the Federal delegation stayed until the end of the seminar. The Federal delegation reached common ground which will be presented to the RS Defence Minister and the RS military heads later on. Banja Luka

At the session held today in Banja Luka, the RS Army Supreme Council condemned the arrest of the General Momir Talic and decided to pass authorities, for the time being, on his deputy, Valentina Knezevic, OBN reporter from Banja Luka, confirmed.

Kosovo

The Spokesman of the Hague Tribunal Prosecutor said that more than 400 locations, where crime was committed, were found in Kosovo. Kosovo Albanians from Orahovac continued blockade of the town in order to prevent deployment of Russian troops in the area. OBN journalist, Gordana Frimel, produced the report.

Sarajevo

The USA Ambassador, Thomas Miller, handed over the credentials to the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Ante Jelavic, today. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Adis Saranovic.

Mostar

Representatives of the HDZ in the town council of Mostar, refused last night to sign an agreement which included concrete measures regarding improvement of functioning of the joint institutions of the town. The measures were suggested by the International Mediator for the BiH Federation and RS, Christian Schwarz Schilling, representatives of the International Community, the Town Council and political parties. Brcko

The International Supervisor for Brcko, Robert Farrand, announced that preparations for the revision of legislation for the Brcko District and development of the District Statute started, OBN reporter from Brcko, Slobodanka Radojkovic, confirmed.

Banja Luka

A report on 150 Bosniaks who currently live in Banja Luka. They were expelled from their homes during the war and live in difficult conditions.

Sarajevo

Delegation of the Sarajevo citizens visited marketplace “Markale” where four years ago 43 people killed due to only one shell launched from the Serb Army post in Mrkovici.

Turkey

A report on 26 fire officers from Sarajevo who finished their task of providing help to the victims of the disastrous earthquake in Turkey. The report was produced by OBN reporter from Turkey, Amarildo Gutic.

A report on continuation of investigation of some allegations from The New York Times article about corruption in the Tuzla Canton. This time, OBN reporter from the area, researched allegations that schools in the Tuzla Canton were painted several times during the last year.

Banja Luka

The RS Government reiterated that the school directors and teachers who participate in the strike announced for September 1st, will be dismissed.

Sarajevo
