Kobiljaca Inhabitants of the Radanovici in the Kiseljak Municipality and members of the Association of Displaced Bosniaks of Kiseljak, blocked a road in order to express their protest against, as they claim, illegal giving of locations to BiH Croats at the ex football ground in Radanovici. Authorities claim they acted according to the law.

Novi Grad

Employees of the biggest textile factory in the RS, “Konfekcija Sana”, from Bosanski Novi or Novi Grad, are on strike for the seventh day in a row. They decided to continue with strike until their demands are fulfilled, OBN reporter from the area, Milena Letic – Joves, confirmed.

Banja Luka

This was followed by a report on announcements made by pensioners and teachers in the RS to go on strike due to their difficult economic situation. The report on this was produced by OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Biljana Arsic.

A piece on signing of the fourth agreement between BiH entities about excluding the insulting materials from joint textbooks. The agreement was reached though mediation of the OHR. The RS Minister of Education, Nenad Suzic, said that this would not endanger the RS education system and that the old RS textbooks would stay in use.

Turkey

Delegation of the BiH Federation Government has gone to Turkey in order to deliver medicines and blood to the victims of disastrous earthquake. The aid is worth $100,000. The town of Sarajevo would accept and take care for one hundred wounded individuals. OBN reporter from Turkey, Fikret Fazlagic, reported on the current situation in the country.

Sarajevo

The new High Representative in BiH, Wolfgang Petritsch, met today with the members of the BiH Council of Ministers in order to discuss implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement and strengthen joint institutions in BiH. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Damir Kaletovic.

Tuzla

A report on the situation with corruption in the Tuzla Canton initiated by the recent article of The New York Times. The authorities said that although the corruption is present it is not as spread as it was said in the article. The report was produced by OBN reporter from Tuzla, Dzenana Karabegovic.

Banja Luka

A piece on the same issue in the RS. There were no official reactions. OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Valentina Knezevic, produced the report.

Una Sana Canton

The Federal inspectors in the Una Sana Canton initiated an action of gathering the money which belongs to the state. In this action, 80 of 120 inspected locations in Cazin, Velika Kladusa, Bihac and Sanski Most were closed, OBN reporter Azra Bajric confirmed.

World

A report on failed entering of Russian troops to Orahovac in Kosovo was followed by reports on the current events in Iraq, Middle East, East Timor and Germany. The report was produced by OBN journalist Duska Jurisic.

Sarajevo

A piece on the Film Festival currently going on in Sarajevo. Today, 12 films of Spanish, French, German, Polish and Turkish directors were shown.

Sport

A report on the incident occurred yesterday at the match between local football teams in Tuzla was followed by reports on the International Athletic Championship and tennis tournaments in the USA.
