Sarajevo

The representatives from HDZ and SDP voted for changes and additions in the Law on work. Representatives from SDA were against these changes and additions. Representatives from SDA think that by passing this Law some workers can be easily fired. The report was produced by Amarildo Gutic.

Zenica

Workers from Zenica company Kimo are in general strike. For months they did not receive their salaries, and a lot of them do not work at all. Similar situation is in another Zenica company Prim whose workers are in general strike for three days.

Sarajevo

The first collective agreement between Federal Government and the Trade Union of metal- working industry and textile industry was signed in Sarajevo. But this agreement will not solve the problems of workers. General strike could well be initiated. The report was produced by Slobodan Maksimovic

Banja Luka

OHR, World Bank and IMF representatives, after the meeting with entity officials stated that financial situation in RS is more than hard. The meeting was held in Banja Luka today. The Government can not insure paying the salaries and retirements from budget.

In Montenegro the final agreement between Montenegrin parties and Serbian opposition on the elections was not reached. Opposition leaders from Serbia plan to have only one candidate for the elections. The ruling parties in Montenegro will boycott the elections.

Massacre in Kashmir. At least 93 persons, mostly Hindu civilians were killed.

4 persons were killed and 21 injured in a road accident of two buses from Holland and Sweden at the south of France.

Israeli Parliament voted on the dissolving of Parliament and taking place of new elections.

Quite demonstrations in Philadelphia, USA were turned into unrest. Police reacted.

Sejfudin Tokic, Vice President of the Main Board of SDP called on Nijaz Durakovic, the member of the Main Board to stop insulting the Board, its President and members. The gap between the first man of the party and the current president could not come in worse time before the elections, and it could have a very serious consequences. Bosniak families came back to their houses at the region of Rodoc This is the seventh return of the refugees at the region of the Municipality Mostar-South. Sinisa Jokic produced the report.

The collective return of the Serb families started at the region of Pozarnica and the surrounding areas Many houses are in a very bad condition. The report was produced by Vesna Mladjenovic

Sarajevo

Multiethnic police forces are the base for the security in B&H. The first unit of the multiethnic police forces was inaugurated in Banja Luka yesterday. At the Police Academy there are 110 policemen that will become professionals.

The Management from the agriculture company Butmir announce that they could stop their production of milk and close the farm. Dairy shop from Sarajevo owes this farm about 7 000 000 DEM. The report was produced by Sevko Bajic
