Sarajevo The BiH House of Peoples adopted today several agreements on development credits. The discussion about the Pact of Stability Conference has been postponed. OBN journalist, Amarildo Gutic, produced the report on this.

This was followed by a poll conducted on the streets of Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka where citizens said what they know about the forthcoming Pact of Stability.

The first official meeting about the membership of BiH in the European Union will be held tomorrow. The BiH delegation, headed by the BiH Foreign Minister, Jadranko Prlic, will talk in Brussels with EU officials. This is only the first, small step. Jadranko Prlic gave a statement about this for TV INFO.

Sarajevo Analysts of the International Crisis Group (ICG) think that the judiciary system in BiH is in a bad state. Judges are frequently exposed to threats and some of them take bribes. A report on this was produced by OBN journalist, Sanjim Beciragic.

Travnik (Srednja Bosna Canton) Representatives of the Srednja Bosna Canton Assembly did not choose the interior minister or his deputy today, although it was planned. The High Representative did not approve nomination of Husein Delalic for the new minister, the SDA party did not nominate another candidate. The report was produced by OBN reporter from Travnik, Ana Drmac.

Kennedy Case A piece on the death of John Kennedy Junior was produced by OBN journalist Slobodan Maksimovic. The speech of the USA President, Bill Clinton, was presented.

Kosovo / Serbia A report on a car incident in Kosovo where two USA soldiers were killed and three hurt last night. Foreign Ministers of the EU talked in Brussels about the reconstruction of Kosovo. The current situation in Serbia was presented. OBN journalist, Gordana Frimel, produced the report.

BiH Workers A report on the announcement of the “Cajevac” factory workers from Banja Luka about going on strike if their salaries for April are not paid by August 23rd.

This was followed by a report from the mine “Vijenac” in Lukavac where workers asked to be paid for April, May and June. Teslic / Novi (Returnees) A report on refugees coming back to the villages in Teslic and Bosanski Novi municipalities. The returnees need help with the reconstruction of their houses.

Sarajevo Seventy per cent of certificates have been delivered on the BiH Federation territory to date. Six hundred thousand of them had mistakes. The authorities explained this was due to a bad data base. OBN reporter, Damir Kaletovic, produced the report.

Mostar The IMC opened its office today in Mostar, after Sarajevo and Banja Luka offices. The General Director Deputy, Robert Gillette, said at the opening ceremony that there was a problem of political and ethnic division of media in BiH.

Sport A report on the Latin American Cup matches was followed by Tour de France and Davis Cup.
