Sarajevo

The guest of TV INFO was SFOR Commander in BiH, General Montgomery Meigs. OBN reporter Amarildo Gutic, confirmed that the current situation in Mostar was calm. The General explained details of the SFOR action in West Mostar which occurred on Thursday. The General said that the action was implemented within the mandate of SFOR. He added that this was the case when SFOR did not inform the authorities in advance that the action was going to be implemented.

This was followed by a phone call of OBN reporter from Mostar, Pejo Gasparevic. He asked the General why did SFOR soldiers enter the premises of the EROTEL TV station in West Mostar? General explained that the premises of EROTEL were placed in one of the buildings controlled by the secret intelligence service.

General Meigs confirmed that he was leaving his post of SFOR Commander on October 18th.

World

This year, 3,000 students have enrolled to the Banja Luka University. Students are faced with the problem of accommodation lack, OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Suzana Vukcevic, confirmed.
