According to today’s Presidency decision, Tihomir Gligoric is no longer a candidate for the Chairman of the Council of Ministers. “Some representatives of the International Community said that they wouldn’t co-operate with Gligoric. That is why Mr Izetbegovic denied his approval of this candidate”, said Kasim Trnka, the President’s adviser. Presidency members should propose a new candidate tomorrow. Richard Sclar, the Special US Envoy for south-east Europe visited Sarajevo today. He is satisfied with the privatisation process in the RS. Both entities got negative marks, because they didn’t adopt the decision on limited immunity introduction for banking agencies’ management. The World Bank granted $30 million for electro-energetic system in B&H. Ambassador Sclar said that today’s meeting was very positive, OBN journalist, Sanjin Beciragic confirmed.
“The Prime Minister Dodik and his government showed a forward thinking at the area of modern European economy”, said Richard Sclar. “Dodik has shown that he is a modern European leader, which is what this country needs in every aspect”, he added. OBN reporter, Vedran Persic interviewed Mr Sclar.

The Sarajevo Canton Privatisation Agency announced on Friday that new owners of the “Marsal” hotel on Bjelasnica are Sefik Dzindo and Aziz Tukulj. However, the real buyer is the company “Energoinvest”, which invested money for reconstruction of this hotel. “All employees of the hotel gave their certificates, in order to protect their jobs. This is the only way to take over the hotel”, said Kerim Lucarevic, the Director of Energoinvest. Reported by Amarildo Gutic.

A team of experts from Sarajevo arrived to Zenica today. The investigation results will be announced in 3-4 days. The bus driver, Nezir Ahmic, feels that he wasn’t responsible for the accident. Reported by Koraljka Kurcenberger.

After the tragic accident near Kakanj, the issue of security of roads in B&H has been raised. The Federal Minister of Trade and Communication, Besim Mehmedic said that the investigation will determine who was responsible for the accident. “The issue of road security should have been resolved a long time ago”, Mehmedic added. The Serbian police arrested 20 members of the movement “Otpor”. They were accused of complicity to the murder of Bosko Perosevic, member of the Socialist Party. The assassin was arrested immediately after the murder.

Brcko
The Brcko District Transitional Assembly distributed 300 parcels for construction of flats. It was decided that 20 parcels should be distributed to citizens who don’t belong to the Serb, Croat or Muslim nation. The aim of this decision is to improve the process of return. The de-mining process causes many problems to citizens of village Ravne near Mostar. Constant mine explosions disturb them, and the water has been contaminated. That is why they blocked the road in order to prevent the SFOR de-mining unit continue their work. Reported by Enes Ratkusic.
