Mostar
This morning, SFOR started up an action of stopping criminal and subversive acts in Mostar and Stolac. This was announced today officially. SFOR search for weapons. Citizens of West Mostar came out onto the streets in order to protest against the action. In the afternoon, top HDZ officials called up an urgent meeting. Sarajevo
A report on the BiH Federation Government session. The Government adopted the budget for the year 2000th. The funds in the budget are worth 950 million DEM. The biggest contribution from the budget will be used for the Army, OBN reporter, Anes Alic, confirmed.
This was followed by a report on the BiH Council of Ministers session. The Council adopted a plan of their activities. Soon, the Council will have one chairman instead of two as it was up to now. Reaching of the decision has been speeded up by the International Community High Representative in BiH. The report on this was produced by OBN reporter, Bakir Hadziomerovic.
Srebrenica
The US Ambassador in BiH, Thomas Miller, visited Srebrenica today. The US Ambassador talked to the Srebrenica Municipality authorities about the possibility for the restart of the municipality administration work interrupted after the recent attack on the Council Secretary, Munib Hasanovic, OBN reporter, Amarildo Gutic, confirmed from Srebrenica.
Sarajevo
This was followed by a report on the visit of the six member delegation of the Srebrenica Citizens Association to the Head of the UN Mission in BiH, Jacques Klein. The delegation came in order to ask for help from the UN Mission regarding the return to the town and burial of exhumed bodies from mass graves. The UN Mission Spokesman in BiH, Douglas Koffman, said that IPTF is monitoring the local police in Srebrenica and investigation of the recent attack on the Municipality Council Secretary, Munib Hasanovic.

The new NATO Secretary General, George Robertson, said that NATO will have a role in stabilisation of the Balkans. This was followed by a report on current events in Serbia, produced by OBN reporter from Belgrade, Danica Ilic. Reports on the USA, Pakistan, Chechenia and Indonesia followed. OBN journalists Zeljka Lekic and Slobodan Maksimovic produced the report. Banja Luka A piece on the meeting of the European Commission Office in BiH Head, Hans-Jorge Kretschmer, with the RS Vice President, Mirko Sarovic. Ambassador Kretchmer emphasised once again which conditions BiH must fulfill in order to enter this European association. The report was produced by OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Tatjana Lajsic.
Zepce
A report on the problem of borders in the Zepce Municipality between Bosniaks and Croats. Both parties have reasons for their decisions. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Damir Kaletovic.
Banja Luka
Last night, a fire was set in a coffee bar in Banja Luka. Two identified individuals entered the cafe and attacked the man from the security.
Sarajevo
The investment of the Coca Cola in BiH is worth 47 million DEM. In the reconstructed factory of this world famous producer, another 70 individuals will get a job. Currently 185 people work for the factory. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Adis Saranovic.
This was followed by a piece on the director Veljko Bulajic. The director had been engaged in making of the film “Sarajevo”. However, he was dismissed and he explained what had happened in the meantime.
