Two people drowned after last night’s sinking of a raft in a lake in Zabari, near Brcko. More than 300 people were at the raft. Owners of the raft are held in custody, Slobodanka Radojkovic confirmed.

Culprits for yesterday’s incidents after the football match between Velez and Zrinski are still unknown. Local police claim that both sides are responsible for devastation of buses transporting Velez fans. Reported by Senada Malanovic.

According to the Head of the Mostar Police “Jugozapad”, Tomislav Curcic, Velez fans devastated their buses from inside. “They also stoned people from the buses”, Curcic added. The OHR and OSCE are satisfied because the match took place in Mostar. Anita Zovko produced the report.

Banja Luka

Protocol of entity privatisation agencies allows the displaced to submit requests for cancelling the registration in the RS. This will enable them to participate in privatisation in the Federation of B&H. Reported by Sanja Srdic.

According to proposed changes for the Law on social insurance and retirement, pensions would be reduced by 20%. The Association of Pensioners feel that this is an uncivilised act. There is a large number of unemployed citizens in the Federation of B&H. Two employment agencies exist in the Federation. Last year, all financial resources were transferred from the B&H Employment Agency to the Federal Employment Agency. Amarildo Gutic investigated the case.

Banja Luka

Parties in both entities presented their election candidates, starting the pre-election campaign. According to the results of local elections, RS presidential candidates Mirko Sarovic (SDS) and Milorad Dodik (SNSD) have the best chances to win at November elections. It is uncertain whether SDA and HDZ will keep the majority of votes in the forthcoming elections, Dragan Stanimirovic confirmed.
