Kotorsko
Serb refugees from Ozren who live in Kotorsko and Bosniac returnees, the pre-war inhabitants of Kotorsko blocked the highway M17 today. Serbs don’t allow the returnees to continue with reconstruction of their houses. Serbs demand the right to visit their houses in Vozuca. SFOR, IPTF and the local police were at the scene. Representatives of the local authorities haven’t addressed the citizens yet. Reported by Svjetlana Celic-Ninkovic from Doboj.
Tuzla
Employees of the mine “Durdevik” in Tuzla organised a strike today. They demand replacement of the director and the whole management. The Director confirmed that the mine should be closed by the end of this year.
Sarajevo
The Federal Government enhanced prices of gas by 27,5%. The Government also discussed new prices of fuel, as well as decrease of pensions. Reported by Amarildo Gutic.
Lukavica
The Head Office of the State Border Service was opened in Lukavica. Employees’ salaries will be in accordance with European standards. On 6th of June, the Service will start working at the Sarajevo airport, one of B&H border crossings. The report was produced by Danijela Bozic.

The Presidency discussed salaries of employees of the B&H Border Service. They appointed Milo Juric as the Head of the Service. He will control the Service’s work. The OHR and SFOR warned the Presidency about the insecure B&H air space. Reported by Sanjin Beciragic.
Banja Luka
The Security Service in Banja Luka informed the public that SFOR visited Mladen Ivanic’s party yesterday, and that they had no intention to arrest Biljana Plavsic. The RS Minister of Information, Rajko Vasic accused the RS media of spreading false information.

“We concluded that a progress had been made in co-operation between the RS and the ICTY“, said the RS Prime Minister, Milorad Dodik after his visit to The Hague. It was announced that the RS Vice-President, Mirko Sarovic would also visit The Hague. The Lawyer, Krstan Simic, who was in The Hague with Mr Dodik, said that contents of secret indictments remained unknown to the RS Government, and that there was no progress in this issue.

The Ceremony on 20 years of the existence of CNN took place in Atlanta today. One of the participants who addressed the ceremony was the ICTY Prosecutor, Carla Del Ponte. She announced her visit to Sarajevo in 14 days, Jadranko Katana confirmed.

Adviser of the Montenegrin President, Goran Zugic was killed in Podgorica last night. Investigation is underway, but there are no official results yet.

Representatives of refugee associations from Tuzla, Sarajevo and Bijeljina met in Tuzla today. They condemned authorities because of the obstruction of return. They agreed to organise joint visits to refugee settlements in both entities. They appealed on the International Community to help the return process.
