High Representative Christian Schmidt met with Chile’s Minister of Defence, Fernando Barros, and Undersecretary of Defense, Rodrigo Álvarez, to discuss the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the meeting, the High Representative highlighted Chile’s longstanding and valued partnership in the EUFOR Althea mission, underlining its important contribution to maintaining stability in line with the Dayton Peace Agreement.
He expressed his appreciation for Chile’s continued engagement and conveyed his hope that this strong cooperation will persist in the future.
